A reworking of the classic story by Simon Nye and made by Carlton, this time with Jenny Agutter playing ‘Mother’. A great cast also including Jemima Rooper, Michael Kitchen, Gregor Fisher and Lord Attenborough going up and down the railway line and waving a lot.
